Kuwait Information and Communication Technologies Security forum will be held here next May under patronage of Minister of Electricity and Water Nabil Bin Salama, with support by Kuwait Information Technology Society. Executive Director for Media and Marketing of Promedia Company that would organize the forum, Jamal Omran, said in a statement the planned event aims at spreading information security awareness in the society, allowing the information technology and communication seniors to exchange opinions on the matter. This forum will tackle a number of issues in this field, such as confidentiality, privacy, integrity of content, intellectual property, cyber crimes, mobile and wireless communications and risk management, besides other topics, Omran said. He added that the participations in the forum will be at the local and international levels.

A fair will be held on sidelines of the forum, presenting the latest safety and security of information and communications systems and equipment for wireless and wired networks. He said experts and specialists will be lecturing at the forum, stressing that it is an important event that highlights the Kuwaiti role in such a vital field that concerns the society.
