CIC ANNOUNCES NEXT GENERATION eSIGNATURE SOLUTION Multi-Modal eSignature for the Web
Redwood Shores, CA, January 18, 2006 - (OTC
BB: CICI) Communication Intelligence Corporation ("CIC"), a leading supplier of
electronic signature solutions for the financial industry and the recognized
leader in biometric signature verification, announced today Sign-it® XFT, a
significant addition to its Enterprise eSignature Suite to include XHTML
document applications for eBusiness.
Sign-it XF provides a multi-modal eSignature solution that
enables organizations to sign XHTML documents over the Web, leveraging CIC's
patented eSignature process. It provides the ability to quickly configure
various electronic signature methods including: click wrap, PKI, seals,
biometric handwritten, voice and fingerprint.
Specifically designed for the diverse needs of the financial
enterprise, CIC's Sign-it XF maximizes the benefit of the Web while
simultaneously offering an enterprise class solution ensuring the integrity of
the transaction process and of the final signed document. "Many insurance and
banking firms struggle with the process of deploying eSignature solutions
because of a myriad of necessary considerations including industry specific
compliance and legal regulations," stated Russ Davis, CIC's Chief Product
Officer. "Sign-it XF enables organizations to quickly deploy Web-based
eSignature solutions and manage corporate risk with CIC's long standing,
best-in-class, eSignature process."
Sign-it XF provides maximum flexibility and ease of use in the
way documents are created and subsequently signed over the Web. It provides a
common interface and process regardless of the type of electronic signature
method employed. Organizations can easily integrate eSignature
capabilities with existing enterprise systems thus dramatically reducing the
cost and time to deploy business process solutions.
"Based on significant interaction with our enterprise customers
and channel partners," said Russ Davis, Chief Product Officer for CIC, "we
recognized the need in the industry to address electronic signatures from an
overall enterprise perspective not just a single point solution. Sign-it XF
provides a vehicle for the enterprise to capture and quickly deploy high value
eSignature solutions that manage risk and corporate exposure in a consistent and
repeatable manner across all lines of business."
CIC's current Enterprise eSignature Suite includes multi-modal
eSignature solutions for Adobe PDF, Web, MS Word and Autocad and has been
successfully deployed by leading insurance and banking firms. Sign-it XF has
been provided to select CIC customers with general availability scheduled for
the end of Q1, 2006.
